Joe Biden has been blocked by a federal appeals court after attempting to force Texas emergency rooms and hospitals to commit abortions. In 2022, the Biden administration informed hospitals that Medicare funds would be withheld by the government unless they performed abortions describing them as a “necessary stabilizing treatment.” The state of Texas, alongside pro-life physicians, initiated a lawsuit challenging Biden’s impending abortion mandate which a federal judge prevented.
