Can Trump “Permanently Pause” Third-World Migration - Revival Nation - Blog

President Donald Trump unleashed a fiery, 1,200-word Truth Social manifesto declaring war on decades of open-borders policies, vowing a “permanent pause” on immigration from “Third World Countries” and the beginning of “reverse migration” on a scale never seen before.

The Crisis, According to Trump

  • The foreign-born population has exploded to an official 53.3 million, the highest in history, up roughly 8 million since he left office in January 2021. Trump and his team insist the real number is far higher because illegal immigrants avoid Census surveys. The Bureau also admitted in 2015 that its reporting of the foreign-born population is likely undercounted by as much as 20%, largely due to the fact that illegal migrants avoid self-reporting their legal status and avoid government surveys and questionnaires.

  • Taxpayers are being crushed: a migrant earning $30,000 a year can pull in more than $50,000 in combined federal and state benefits, according to commonly cited fiscal analyses. A new Center for Immigration Studies report shows 47% of noncitizen households with young children use SNAP or WIC food programs, versus only 31% of native-born households.

One of the strongest and most relevant issues that pushed this issue to the top of the preverbal pile was Minnesota’s Somali community. According to investigative reports by Christopher Rufo and others has revealed billions have allegedly been siphoned from child-nutrition and Medicaid programs through fake companies, with counterterrorism officials confirming millions were wired to the Al-Shabaab terror group in Somalia.

Nearly 500 Minnesota Human Services employees later accused Governor Tim Walz and Democratic leaders of retaliating against whistleblowers and refusing to stop the fraud for fear of appearing “discriminatory.”

Trump didn’t hold back when the news broke, he called Walz “seriously retarded,” blasted Somali-born Representative Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) as an America-hating ingrate wrapped “in her swaddling hijab,” and revived allegations that she married her brother to game the immigration system.

Vice President J.D. Vance has tied the same influx of illegal migrants to the housing crisis, claiming (with some exaggeration) that “30 million illegal immigrants” flooded the country under Biden, driving rents and home prices through the roof.

Trump added overcrowded schools, strained hospitals, rising violent crime in certain cities, and general “urban decay” to the indictment.

The President’s Promised Cure

  • Permanent pause on new migration from designated high-risk nations (the “Third World”).
  • Immediate termination of millions of Biden-era entries, including those rubber-stamped by autopen.
  • Mass deportation of anyone who is a net drain, a security risk, or “non-compatible with Western Civilization.”
  • End all federal benefits and subsidies to non-citizens.
  • Denaturalize those who obtained citizenship fraudulently or now “undermine domestic tranquility.”
  • “Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation,” Trump declared.

Can He Actually Do It?

Largely, yes: at least on paper.

The Immigration and Nationality Act §212(f) gives the president sweeping authority to block entry of any class of aliens he deems “detrimental” to U.S. interests; authority the Supreme Court upheld in Trump’s first-term travel-ban case. Ending welfare loopholes, revoking Temporary Protected Status, and canceling Biden-era parole programs are all within executive reach, though blue-state governors and activist judges are already gearing up for battle. Denaturalization is rarer and requires federal courts, but clear cases of fraud or terror support are prosecutable.

Bottom line: Trump just served notice that the biggest immigration reversal in modern American history is coming, and fast.
