FBI Investigates Brennan, Comey Over Trump-Russia Investigation
The FBI has initiated a criminal investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey regarding their involvement in the probe into alleged collusion between President Donald Trump and Russia.
According to DOJ sources cited by Fox News Digital, CIA Director John Ratcliffe referred evidence of Brennan’s alleged wrongdoing to FBI Director Kash Patel, prompting the opening of a criminal investigation. The sources confirmed the investigation is underway but provided no further details. It remains unclear whether the probe extends beyond Brennan’s alleged false statements to Congress.

This development follows a Breitbart News report highlighting potential perjury issues for Brennan after Ratcliffe declassified an internal CIA review of the 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), which examined claims of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Whilst the full scope of the investigations into Brennan and Comey remains unclear, two sources have characterized the FBI’s perspective on their actions as a “conspiracy.”
