Washington DC’s Black Lives Matter Plaza street mural is being dismantled as legislation is moving forward to withhold the city’s funding unless the area is renamed “Liberty Plaza” and the mural removed. The mural came to be in 2020 following the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and the Black Lives Matter (BLM) group came into the spotlight. For those who don’t know, BLM was founded and led by self-identified trained Marxists.
