Franklin Graham Calls Massachusetts Abortion Law ‘Evil’ and ‘Murder’: Compares State to China and North Korea

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey signed the Prioritizing Patient Access to Care Act, which removes all restrictions on abortion, allowing the killing of viable, fully formed babies up to the moment of birth. The law takes effect November 8, 2026.

Evangelist Franklin Graham responded with righteous fury. “This sends a chill up my spine. Smiles and applause while the Democratic Massachusetts governor signs a bill to allow abortions up to birth in her state. This is murder. It’s evil,” he posted on social media. Graham quoted Isaiah 5:20: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil. This governor and those cheering will one day stand before a Holy God—I don’t think they will be cheering then.”

Healey claims the law is about the “doctor-patient relationship.” It isn’t. It’s about legalizing infanticide.

Pro-life activist Lila Rose called late-term abortion a “barbaric procedure,” warning that the law permits “intentional killing of preborn children all the way up to birth for ANY reason.” Massachusetts Citizens for Life was blunt: the law is “abortionists normalizing infant death and pressuring vulnerable women to permit their unborn children to die in heinous acts of violence, which are among the most severe human rights assaults allowed in only a few places, among them China and North Korea.”

Massachusetts now joins China and North Korea in permitting abortion up to birth. That should devastate every Christian in America.

President Trump supports federal pro-life policies but has insisted states decide the abortion question. Yet states like Massachusetts, California, Illinois, and New York are now killing babies at birth. Chad Connelly with Faith Wins said federal guidelines are necessary: “States like Illinois, Massachusetts, California and New York aren’t killing babies up till birth. That’s just disgusting.”

The law is evil. The celebration of it is demonic. And every Christian must recognize: this is not healthcare. This is murder. And Massachusetts has chosen to enshrine it into law.
