Crime Plummets Without Assaulting the Second Amendment

Preliminary FBI data proves that every gun-grabber who ever claimed that disarming law-abiding citizens was the only way to stop the bloodshed is absolutely wrong.

According to the FBI, homicides across the nation plummeted 18% between September 2024 and August 2025 with violent crime dropped a solid 9% overall, and property crime falling by 12%.

Experts now project that 2025 delivered the single largest one-year homicide decline in FBI history, potentially nearing 20% when full numbers are finalized, shattering previous records and proving once and for all that real safety comes from strength, not surrender.

For years, Democrats and their media allies have screamed that “assault weapons” bans, red-flag laws, universal background checks, and every other infringement on the Second Amendment were essential to saving lives. But their lies, fear-mongering and exploitation of tragedy in order to strip Americans of their God-given right to self-defense have all failed.

So what really tackled violent crime in the nation? Constitutional carry expanded into more states and a record number of Americans began exercising their right to bear arms and purchasing guns. And above all, this dramatic turnaround happened because Americans refused to attack the Second Amendment.

No new federal gun bans passed Congress. No mandatory confiscations occurred. No backdoor registries were created. Instead, common sense and our great Constitutional rights, prevailed.

Law-abiding citizens will remain armed and ready to protect themselves, their families, and their communities. Meanwhile, criminals, facing the very real prospect of armed resistance, began thinking twice before pulling the trigger or kicking in a door.

Adding to the success were prosecutors actually charging and convicting violent offenders instead of releasing them to terrorize again. Police departments were bolstered by funding and garnered community support rather than defunded and demonized. Border security also saw improvements in curbing the flow of illegal guns and drugs that fuel gang violence. And yes, millions of everyday Americans carrying concealed which serves as the ultimate deterrent.

What we’ve learned is that America doesn’t need fewer guns in the hands of good people; it needs more accountability for bad ones. It doesn’t need Washington bureaucrats dictating self-defense; it needs citizens empowered to defend themselves. The 18% homicide plunge, the 9% violent crime drop, the 12% property crime reduction are the fruits of liberty defended, not liberty curtailed.

And ultimately, we know that an armed society isn’t just a polite society, but a far safer one.
