HHS Report Exposes “Trans” Medical Malpractice

A scathing, 409-report by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) found “deep uncertainty about the purported benefits” of many “transgender” interventions.
The report, titled “Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria: Review of Evidence and Best Practices,” recommends medical professionals and parents prioritize talk therapy and individualized care over immediate medical interventions such as puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and surgeries – a departure from the current system which has racked in the profits for big pharma.
Thanks to an executive order issued by President Trump back in January, HHS investigated “transgender surgeries” conducted on children and exposed the dark underbelly of the medical community.
Executive Order
The executive order stated that medical professionals are “maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions.”
Trump’s order also stated that it is “the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called ‘transition’ of a child from one sex to another.”
“Countless children soon regret that they have been mutilated and begin to grasp the horrifying tragedy that they will never be able to conceive children of their own or nurture their children through breastfeeding,” the order states.
Whilst the report didn’t outright ban surgeries that mutilate children’s health bodies, or the prescription of puberty blockers, Americans now have an official document that lists the severe, long-term effects of these harmful treatments which include potential risks of infertility, impaired bone density, and adverse cognitive impacts.
“These interventions carry risk of significant harms including infertility/sterility, sexual dysfunction, impaired bone density accrual, adverse cognitive impacts, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorders, psychiatric disorders, surgical complications, and regret,” the report states.
Where’s The Evidence?
Critically, the report argues that many U.S. medical professionals expanded their so-called “gender-affirming care” without sufficient scientific or ethical justification: “A central theme of this Review is that many U.S. medical professionals and associations have fallen short of their duty to prioritize the health interests of young patients.”
The report also states that “the umbrella review found that the overall quality of evidence concerning the effects of any intervention on psychological outcomes, quality of life, regret, or long-term health, is very low.”
“This indicates that the beneficial effects reported in the literature are likely to differ substantially from the true effects of the interventions.”
It went on to suggest that social and psychological factors may contribute to the rise in gender dysphoria cases, calling for further research to understand these influences better.
Cass Review
Researcher frequently pointed to the United Kingdom’s Cass Review, a massive four-year study by the National Health Service (NHS) that exposed several of the inconsistencies found within conventional research into transgenderism.
The report highlights the “growing international concern about pediatric medical transition” and how many countries are beginning to restrict transgender interventions on children.
“There is currently no international consensus about best practices for the care of children and adolescents with gender dysphoria,” the HHS report stressed.
Perspective
God’s Word affirms that we are, each and every one of us, “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14), and that our bodies reflect God’s intentional design.
No one is born in the wrong body and as believers, we know that true healing comes through Christ, who offers hope and complete restoration (John 10:10).
