Pentagon Releases More UFO Files - Revival Nation News - Blog

The Pentagon released its fourth batch of files related to unidentified anomalous phenomena on Friday, containing 40 files from various government agencies and multiple accounts of objects displaying flight characteristics that experienced military personnel say they’ve never seen before.

The release, uploaded to the Department of War’s UFO website as part of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, includes historical documents from the late 1940s Project Sign era, reports from early U.S. government investigations into flying objects, and a transcript from a 1949 conference of top physicists and scientists in Los Alamos, New Mexico, some of whom worked on the Manhattan Project.

Among the most striking accounts is a September 2015 incident over a nuclear weapons facility near Amarillo, Texas. A Department of Energy file recounts an unidentified, diamond-shaped object that entered the facility’s airspace, triggering a lockdown. Two officers pursued the object but were unable to catch it. When they stopped their vehicle and got out, they noted the object made no sound. Using binoculars, they could identify no propulsion system. After viewing it for one to two minutes, the object continued north offsite.

Another report describes a 2019 sighting over the eastern United States. An aviator and four other personnel witnessed an object that the aviator described as having “flight characteristics unlike anything I had seen in my 28 years of performing for the Air Force and Navy.” The small object appeared to be traveling in a straight line opposite their direction at high speed, but it zoomed out of his field of view when he tried to keep recording it.

A 2020 incident over the Atlantic Ocean involved what a heavily redacted report described as resembling a “large, somewhat deformed balloon” with a “darker, maroonish color, approximately 12 to 15 feet in height.” The report claimed the object was traveling with the wind and did not maneuver or change direction.

The release also includes grainy military and infrared sensor videos of unresolved UAP sightings worldwide, including over the Yellow Sea and East China Sea in 2025, the Gulf of America in 2019, and the western United States in 1996.

One UAP seen over the Yellow Sea via an infrared sensor in 2025 appears as a six-pointed star, similar to an eight-pointed star captured in a 2013 video released in the Pentagon’s first batch of UFO-related material in May. The eight-pointed star’s resemblance to the Star of Ishtar prompted social media speculation about the potentially spiritual nature of the phenomena.

Prior releases featured grainy military and civilian videos of “orbs,” including reports of larger orbs appearing to release smaller ones.

The newest release also contains NASA imagery from space, including three images from the 1996 Space Shuttle STS-80 mission showing an unidentified object flying in low Earth orbit. Earlier releases included Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 transcripts and Gemini 7 audio discussing anomalous sightings.

“The Department of War and our agency partners are actively working on the next release of UAP files,” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement Friday. The transparency effort follows an executive order President Donald Trump signed earlier this year directing the disclosure of UFO-related material.

This is the fourth batch. More releases are coming. Objects over nuclear facilities, advanced flight characteristics, unexplained star-shaped phenomena captured on infrared. The government is releasing files, but many questions remain unanswered.
