Planned Parenthood Defunding Underway

The US House of Representatives narrowly passed President Trump’s “One, Big Beautiful Bill” which includes a provision to defund Planned Parenthood.

The final vote count came in at 215 for and 214 against with every Democrat voting against the measure.

“Now, it’s time for our friends in the United States Senate to get to work, and send this Bill to my desk AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.

In 2024, Planned Parenthood received a whopping $800 million in our tax dollars.

This is highly disturbing when reading through the abortion business’s 2022-2023 annual report which states that, with the financial assistance of the US government, it killed 402,000 babies. This number equates to nearly 45 children being murdered every hour in the US, that’s one baby every 80 seconds!

According to the same Planned Parenthood report, they admit to committing 40% of all abortions in the US.

What isn’t being discussed is how Planned Parenthood has significantly expanded its so-called “transgender care services,” including the provision of cross-sex hormones, which has increased by 49% in recent years.

So not only have abortions and “transgender services” increased, but Planned Parenthood’s cancer screenings and pap smears, two of the organization’s primary excuses used to justify their government funding, have dramatically decreased.

Concerning the bill, the goal is to have it on Trump’s desk by the Fourth of July, says House Speaker Mike Johnson. It will, however, have to go through the Senate first in order to determine whether or not it fits under the budget reconciliation rules, which would require a simple majority to pass.
