Jay-Z & Sean “Diddy” Combs Named In R_pe Lawsuit - Revival Nation - Blog

Jay-Z’s name has surfaced in a civil lawsuit alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs after the case, which was originally filed this October, was amended on Sunday.

Combs and Jay-Z are accused of raping a 13 years old girl in 2000 whilst at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party.

Jay-Z denied allegations made against him, calling the crime “heinous in nature.”

Jay-Z has gone on to accuse the plaintiff’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, as trying to blackmail him.

Refusing to backdown from his statements, Buzbee later posted on X:

“When an alleged perpetrator behaves in this manner, wildly asserting that a basic demand letter is “extortion,” … while at the same time ignoring the allegations being made by the alleged victim, it reminds me of a famous line from Shakespeare: “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.””

At this time, Sean “Diddy” Combs faces more than two dozen civil sexual abuse lawsuits and has been charged in federal court with running a “criminal enterprise” which includes sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation with the purposes of prostitution.

In May of 2025, Combs will go to trial.

Combs pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in federal court in Manhattan.
