45,000 Worship At Stadium Crusade: ‘A Taste of Heaven’

45,000 gathered at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California for Pastor Greg Laurie’s annual Harvest Crusade which results in more than 6,500 people giving their lives to the Lord!
“The heart of the Harvest Crusade, for the past 35 years, has been the proclamation of the Gospel. When the invitation to follow Christ was given, so many people came forward that the Fire Marshals had to stop them, with others backed up in the aisles—a first for Angel Stadium,” Laurie posted online.
“Please pray for all those who invited Christ into their lives tonight. May they be “seed planted on good ground” and grow strong in their faith,” he added.
An additional 200,000 watched the crusade online as Pastor Laurie shared the good news of the Gospel. Whilst the soul-winning events have been held by Laurie since 1990, the evangelist and pastor believes there is a shaking taking place in California, as more and more people become hungry for the things of God.
“There’s a spiritual hunger in California,” Laurie says. “I believe that God wants to do another great work in this state, that we call the ‘Golden State.’ The last great spiritual awakening happened here in this state of California, and I pray it will happen again.”
What an incredible evening at the Harvest Crusade! Over 45,000 people filled Angel Stadium. When the invitation to follow Christ was given, so many responded that the Fire Marshals had to close the field! More details to follow. Laurie was joined by Christian artists Chris Tomlin, Brooke Ligertwood, Kari Jobe and her husband Cody Carnes as they lead the gathering in worship.
“What an unforgettable night at Angel Stadium! God showed up in a spectacular way, as He always does, pouring out His Spirit in a tangible, powerful manner,” Laurie said.
He continued, “We experienced epic worship moments throughout the evening, especially when 45,000 voices sang ‘The Blessing’ with Kari Jobe Carnes and Cody Carnes at full volume—it was truly a taste of Heaven.”
Finding your true purpose in life was the primary theme of the event, a most pertinent message at a point in time when the majority of those both young and old are grasping for purpose and identity in all the wrong places.
“Your soul isn’t craving applause. It is craving a relationship with God,” Laurie stated, “you are searching for God. That is what we all want deep down inside.”
The gospel message can impact anyone, regardless of background. It reaches the wealthy and poor, the educated and uneducated. It cuts through cultural barriers, racial barriers, economic barriers, and age barriers.. Everyone can grasp the gospel because God blesses it and plants… pic.twitter.com/IB8AYLQaVI

“Your life feels like one long scroll, and no matter how far you swipe, you still feel empty inside. But what you are looking for isn’t found on a screen or an AI voice that speaks to you or flatters you. It is found in a living God who has a plan and a purpose for your life,” he continued.
Over 6,500 individual souls responded to that message and flocked onto the field to make a public declaration of their desire to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This was “one of the best responses we have seen in our 35+ years of Harvest Crusades,” said Laurie, and it was all because of prayer.
“Before the event, we prayed that this would be one of the greatest Harvest Crusades in our history—and God did exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think. As Brooke Ligertwood led in worship, the field filled with people responding to the gospel, and I had the privilege of leading them in what we often call the sinner’s prayer,” he posted. ” It was truly a holy moment.”
“I haven’t given up on California,” Laurie told Crosswalk, “and I believe that God wants to do another great work in this state that we call the Golden State. The last great spiritual awakening happened here in this state, California. And I pray it will happen again. God has worked, and we know many others have made a commitment to follow Christ, watching online or listening in other outlets, and so we just say to God be the glory.”
