Christian Radio Helped Frankie Muniz Discover God

Actor Frankie Muniz, widely recognized for starring in Malcolm in the Middle, has recently drawn notice for an unforeseen aspect of his life: his Christian faith.
Following a viral X post declaring his belief in Jesus, Muniz discussed how God, a cross-country drive, and a Christian radio station have profoundly transformed his life.
“It’s something that’s new in my life,” Muniz told Chat Us Up, “I found it on accident. I was driving across the country and everything that could possibly go wrong was going wrong. I was almost in tears, and the only station that would play was K-LOVE.”

He was profoundly moved by two tracks: Kari Jobe’s “Cover the Earth” and Big Daddy Weave’s “Overwhelmed.” “It was the perfect moment,” he said, “I haven’t turned off that radio station since. I stated going to church every Sunday and really being involved in my faith. It’s definitely become a big part of my life because of that trip.”
Describing himself as “a high-stress person,” Muniz explained that Christian music has brought him calm and clarity.
He has grown particularly fond of artists Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham.
“Even though I had a lot of good in my life, I felt like I was still in a very anxious place,” he said, “It just puts me in the right frame of mind that I want to be in.”
Muniz expressed his desire for others to explore worship music and pursue a relationship with God.
“If that little bit of listening to the music could have that effect on me and bring me down a different path to make my life better, I hope other people find that, too.”
